A large tree form willow you will readily recognize. Planted virtually everywhere in the temperate world, weeping willow is a staple shade tree and a lovely ornamental that also provides copious amounts of biomass. This tree grows rapidly and can help to soak up excess water on the site it is planted on. Though the weeping willow loves water it can handle dry conditions as well, being native to the drier parts of northern China.
