Apples are one of the most widely used fruits around the world. We are in favor of full grown hardy apple trees that have resistance to many of the pests and diseases that come from beings such a widely grown fruit. We use Antonovka apple seed for our apple tree offering. They will develop into a long lived full sized tree. If you want a a dwarfing tree we encourage pruning your tree to fit your needs rather than buying a weaker dwarfing root system.

The Antonovka apple was developed in Russia during the 1800's and became a widely distributed variety throughout the colder parts of Russia, Poland and Belarus. This apple has a well liked flavor for cooking and is commonly used in baking recipes.  It even has a monument dedicated to it in its home origins of Kursk Russia.
